How was testhim created?

How it began
Our journey started at a racetrack—a fitting place for a story about building momentum. While we initially met online through Fertility Network UK during the pandemic, it wasn’t until Toby’s first race of 2021 that we connected in person. Despite our shared backgrounds and interests, the idea of collaborating wasn’t yet on the horizon.
Identifying a need
A simple Zoom call led to a pivotal realisation, we needed to do something together! Now was our opportunity to fill the male fertility gap with a fresh, impactful approach that could redefine the space entirely.
testhim takes shape
By late 2021, our vision had solidified. We officially incorporated and began working on the foundation of what would become testhim—crafting a brand, shaping our mission, and defining our services.
Going live
With a name and brand established, we launched our website and ventured into the world of social media, marking our first steps toward building a supportive community.
The free health questionnaire
After months of development, we introduced the testhim health questionnaire through our free online portal. Designed with scientific research it’s aim was to ask the critical questions often overlooked in male fertility care, its launch at the Fertility Show 2022 was a defining moment.
Consultations and online store
Leveraging Ian’s extensive background in fertility coaching, lifestyle guidance, and acupuncture, we expanded to offer online consultations tailored to men. Around the same time, we launched the testhim store, featuring products and services to support fertility and overall health.
Launching the testhim podcast
In late 2022, we began recording episodes for the testhim podcast. By January 2023, the first episode aired, bringing expert insights and meaningful conversations about male fertility to listeners monthly.

Introducing testicular scan services
Recognising a significant gap in men’s access to testicular scan services, we partnered with Ultrasound Direct enabling men easier access to scans supported by consultations with our in-house fertility expert, Ian.
Sperm DNA fragmentation testing
After years of collaboration with Logixx Fertility, we launched a groundbreaking sperm DNA fragmentation testing service. Available through The Doctors Laboratory and the University of Kent, this service represented a new frontier in male fertility care.
testhim M+ Supplement
April 2024 marked another milestone with the launch of testhim M+, our own supplement. Specially formulated with ingredients like N-acetyl-L-cysteine, zinc, and folic acid, it’s designed to support sperm health and reduce oxidative stress.
Online support group – April 2024
In some ways this was where it all started, during an online support group. Missing that monthly meet up with guys we launched the testhim support group offering online peer to peer support and a safe place for men to connect and share their experiences.

Our mission to transform male fertility care is far from over. With exciting innovations on the horizon, we’re dedicated to continuing to make a lasting impact in this crucial area of healthcare.
Why it matters to us…
We've been there! We’ve felt the frustration, the isolation, and the lack of support for men in the process. Too often, male fertility is an afterthought—and that needs to change. testhim was born from our own experiences, driven by a mission to empower men with the knowledge, tools, and support they deserve. This isn’t just a business to us—it’s a movement to make male fertility a priority!

Empowering men
For too long, male fertility has been ignored. We're here to change that—breaking the stigma and making men a key part of the conversation. With the right tools, support, and knowledge, men can take control of their reproductive health. Because when it comes to fertility, knowledge is power.
Diagnose (latest science)
We want to ensure men have access to the most up to date science, technology and diagnostic techniques. Working with some of the best scientists and clinicians we want to ensure these technologies are more easily available speeding up a man’s diagnosis and treatment options.
Correct treatment
Not every man needs IVF or ICSI. Through the right diagnostics and support we want to ensure men know all the options open to them before moving forward. With the right treatments at the right time we want to help men achieve optimal fertility giving them the best chance to conceive naturally or through assisted treatments such as IVF.
